Kolibri has also been temp banned from the subreddit after cussing out another user the other day. From here on out these individuals and their ‘info’ are barred from being posted here. As such, I have decided to add both Kolibri and Roberto to the automod removal filter - both these individuals are not leakers, they are speculators who have decided to frame their speculation as hard facts. I do not want to ban leaks/rumours as that sets a dangerous precedent, but I also don’t want to be an enabler of misinformation being spread. It’s dangerous and harmful to the community. When you present unconfirmed information as fact, you’re setting false expectations and hyping people up. The recent situation with Kolibri and Roberto Serrano is an excellent example of this.

However, over recent weeks/months its become increasingly clear that people are using this subreddit as a means to spread misinformation - resulting in a multitude of people being let down on multiple occasions because they decided to take what some clout chaser said on Twitter as fact.Īs Flakfire said in his most recent video, it has become a real issue recently in which individuals are presenting information as fact when nothing has been confirmed yet. I opened this subreddit just under a year ago so people could have a place to discuss, speculate and share ideas about the next Battlefield game.
